One sees cars and trucks being towed all the time.
Whether it’s as a result of car trouble or accidents or getting stuck in snow drifts, tow trucks are usually around to help out.
Even though it’s quite common to see transit buses and chartered coach buses busily going along the city ways and highways, moving people from place to place, it somehow seems rarer to catch a glimpse of a bus being towed. Naturally, their drivers can encounter mechanical issues en route, too. But it doesn’t seem to happen all that often.
I have only ever seen one towed bus before, and it was a city transit bus.
This greyhound coach bus being towed along a smaller highway caught my attention, when I was on my way into the city about two weeks ago. I wondered about the passengers and hoped that a replacement bus had been made available to them.
